gift guide for her.

Gifts are more than mere objects; they are bundles of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness. With great care, we select gifts to delight our loved ones, to celebrate their milestones, or simply to show our appreciation. A gift is an expression of understanding and connection, a way to demonstrate that someone truly matters to us. It can be a symbol of support during difficult times or an embodiment of joy during celebratory moments. Whether it is a beautifully wrapped present or a simple handwritten note, the intention behind a gift holds the power to uplift spirits, create lasting memories, and deepen the bonds between giver and receiver. In a world that often moves at a relentless pace, gifts offer moments of pause, occasions to acknowledge and cherish the importance of those we hold dear.

I wanted to share some of my favorite gifts that you can get for the special women in your life, for holidays, or any time of year.

  1. The first is one of my favorite candles. The 3-wick balsam candle from Bath & Body Works. While I love this one at Christmas, it is good all winter long for your home to smell like a winter forest. Even better, sometimes they are half price, so look out for the sales.

  2. Crossbody bags are the fanny pack of 2023. They are one of the easiest and cutest ways to carry what you need hands free. Some of the best come from emily ruth prints, and what’s better, you can customize them! Check out the custom crescent crossbody. TIP: remember to allow 2-4 weeks for customization!

  3. Who doesn’t love receiving some handmade jewelry? These little earrings from Twenty Two West are handmade in Charlotte, NC and come in the most beautiful colors. They’re perfect for adding a little pop of color to any outfit!

  4. “I have too many mugs!” Said no one ever. A good mug for your favorite warm beverage is a little bit of comfort in and of itself. This camp mountain mug from Natural Life is colorful and cozy. I can picture so many folks sipping coffee and being transported right to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

  5. Some people are bath people, and some people are shower people. Bath bombs have been all the rage for quite some time, and I think they have overshadowed the wonder of the shower steamer. These little things make you feel like you’re at a 5-star spa, even if your reality is the farthest thing from it. These botanical steamers have a variety of soothing scents to make every shower a little more relaxing.

  6. For the bookworm ladies in your life, why not get them a book that will empower and inspire? Gift them Elise Lohehnen’s New York Times Bestseller “On Our Best Behavior: The Seven Deadly Sins and the Price Women Pay to Be Good.” Definitely worth the read, and it’s beautiful to boot!

  7. If any of the women in your life are like me, they love learning a new crafty skill. These little embroidery kits from Clever Poppy have everything you need to create something beautiful and have fun doing it! I love this rainbow one, but they have lots of options to choose from.

  8. Help the writer in your life journal in style with this lovely journal from Rifle Paper Co. Having something pretty to write in will hopefully inspire some good creativity and intention setting. They come in lots of other beautiful prints, too!

  9. As much as I try, I can’t keep plants alive. I want to be a plant mama, but I have given up. I even killed a cactus in a terrarium. However, thanks to Red Raven Designs on Etsy, you can give your plant-lovers a cute little crocheted succulent that they can enjoy forever; all it needs is a little love.

Remember, gifts are all about the thought behind them. The women in your life will love whatever you pick out for them. And, as always, if you hate wrapping gifts and are local to Charlotte, NC, be sure to check out our gift-wrapping services!
